VITAMIN COMPLEX OF ARONIA PRUNUS (ARÓNIA MELANOCÁRPA (Michx.) Elliott.)

Aronia melanocarpa (Michx.) Elliott. is a deciduous shrub with a compact, later spreading crown. Homeland-Eastern regions of North America. In the culture of the late XVII-early XVIII century in Russia appeared in the beginning of XX century and became widespread in the European part, the Urals, Siberia, Altai region. Fruits contain sugars, anthocyanins (cyanidin and its glycosides), pectins, tannins and colorants, neochlorogenic acid, catechins, coumarins, amygdalin, flavonoids (hesperidin, quercetin, quercitrin), and flavonol glycoside rutin. The vitamin complex includes vitamin C, Tocopherols, vitamins K1 B1, B2, B6, E, substances with P-vitamin activity, carotene. The fruit contains macronutrients, mg / g: K 13.9; Ca 1.3; MD 1.0; Fe 0.1 and trace elements (mcg/g): MP 0.07; Cu 0.58; Zn 0.1; Co 0.15; Cr 0.02; AI 0.02; Se 3.63; Ni 0.11; Sr 0.06; Pb 0.02; B 4.8. The leaves contain flavonoids (hyperoside, rutin), organic acids (coffee, neochlorogenic, chlorogenic). Preparations from fruits (extracts, infusions, tablets) are used as a multivitamin, capillary strengthening, hypotensive, anti-sclerotic, antispasmodic, choleretic, anti-inflammatory; improve the function of the thyroid gland.
